A Reflection for All Saints Day

Yesterday, Sunday, November 1, was All Saints Day. It’s a day to remember the “Great Cloud of Witnesses,” those who came before us in our Tradition, who lived faithfully in their time. Their witness remains, cheering us on as we seek to live faithfully in our days as well. For many of us who have gone through a faith transformation, our relationship to those saints who’ve gone on can feel tenuous at best. In this video I try to unpack that awkwardness, and perhaps offer some thoughts about moving forward.
